Bacterial ulcer disease is one of the most serious and common conditions affecting koi and pond fish, typically caused by atypical Aeromonas salmonicida—a highly pathogenic bacteria that invades the skin and initiates ulcers. Once this barrier is breached, it’s often followed by colonisation from Aeromonas hydrophila, a more widespread but equally damaging aquatic bacterium.

Absolute Aqua-Vet+ Recovery is specifically formulated to support fish during these vulnerable times by reducing the spread of harmful bacteria and aiding tissue regeneration. It is ideal for use following parasite outbreaks, injury, or when poor water quality has compromised fish health.

💧 How to Use:

1. Turn off UV sterilisers before treatment.

2. Shake the bag to decompact powder for accurate dosing.

3. Add 10g per 100 gallons (454L) of pond water.

4. Dissolve the medication into a watering can with 2L of clean pond water and distribute evenly over the pond surface.

5. Repeat every 7 days after performing a 20% water change, until the fish have fully healed.

6. Turn UV systems back on 7 days after the final dose.

⛔ Caution: Do not overdose. Always observe fish after application and aerate the pond well during treatment. Avoid use in high temperatures (above 25°C) or during stormy/humid weather.
