Absolute Aqua-Vet Chilodonella+ is a professional-strength pond treatment specifically formulated to target Chilodonella, a microscopic, single-celled parasite that can cause serious harm to ornamental pond fish—especially during colder months when immune systems are suppressed.

Although Chilodonella often appears in clean ponds, it thrives by attaching to fish and feeding on bacteria and microorganisms in the water. Left untreated, infestations can cause severe gill damage, lethargy, and secondary infections. Fortunately, Aqua-Vet Chilodonella+ is a reliable solution to help restore your pond’s health.

🐟 How Chilodonella Affects Pond Fish:

🧪 How to Use Absolute Aqua-Vet Chilodonella+:

  1. Shake the pouch to decompact the powder.

  2. Turn off UV sterilisers before use.

  3. Dosage: Add 10g per 100 gallons (454L) of pond water.

  4. Mix with 2L of clean pond water in a watering can and distribute evenly across the pond surface.

  5. Repeat dosing on Days 1, 2 & 3.

  6. Resume UV sterilisation on Day 5.

⚠️ Note: This treatment may temporarily impact your biological filtration. It’s recommended to carry out regular water tests for ammonia and nitrite during and after treatment.
